Responsibilities:
Create book covers, eBook layouts, print and audio covers and any book series logos.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Experience in book cover design and/or publishing industry graphics is a plus.
Social Media Team Member
Location: Remote
Job Overview:
Spreading the Fire Publishing is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Team Member to help manage and grow our presence across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, digital marketing, and engaging with online communities. You will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, driving engagement, and promoting our books, authors, and publishing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, stories, and text posts) tailored to each platform.
Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
Collaborate with the team to align content with brand goals and marketing campaigns.
Track performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach, etc.) and adjust strategies based on insights.
Stay up-to-date with platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to expand our audience.
Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns to showcase our books, authors, and publishing services.
Qualifications:
Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional).
Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok, including their unique features and audiences.
Excellent writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
Ability to create and edit simple graphics and videos (experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus).
Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
